Course Summary

Protection coordination is an important part of any power system. Without it, the network will be liable to get damaged. In this course, we will figure out how protection coordination works and how it can help us prevent damage in a power system during faults and other events. The module focuses on the protection coordination for low voltage and medium voltage equipment used in electrical power systems. This course covers the principles of protection coordination into a protection system using the digsilent powerfactory software.
