This recorded training walks you through real engineering challenges in planning, modeling, and validating a 300 MW solar power project—from grid compliance to transformer losses—using ETAP and DIgSILENT PowerFactory.
You’ll begin by understanding the overall SLD, transformer configurations, and conductor sizing while working with real technical specifications drawn from actual utility-scale projects.
You’ll model load flow and reactive power compensation, optimize OLTC settings, configure inverters, and review FAT reports for accurate transformer representation in ETAP.
You’ll transition the project from ETAP into DIgSILENT, perform stability assessments, and carry out advanced controller-based dynamic simulations for in-depth system behavior analysis.
You’ll evaluate transformer and system losses, assess simulation accuracy, and interpret reports focusing on OLTC performance, voltage regulation, and inverter behavior under varying conditions
